THE INCREDIBLE HULK
As a reboot of the franchise, this film stars Ed Norton as Bruce Banner. He’s on the run from the U.S. military, who is trying to track him down in order to use his “condition” to make supersoldiers. When Banner comes back to the U.S. to find the original data on the botched experiment that made him the Hulk, he runs into his former lover Betty Ross (Liv Tyler). They try to cure him, but soon find themselves pitted against a new supersoldier (Tim Roth) that has a hulk-out moment of his own.
LIAM’S REVIEW
What Liam expected: Lots of fighting and a hulk-out moment within the first ten minutes of the movie.
What Liam liked: When the army attacks the Incredible Hulk and a big fight happens.
What Liam didn’t like: The kissing.
Grade: Kinda rocks.
***KISSING ALARM***
KEVIN’S REVIEW
What Kevin expected: A better film than the Ang Lee mess from 2003. He also expected the film to follow the tone of the classic television series from the 70s and 80s.
What Kevin liked: The story was more even-keeled than the first Hulk, and it focused more on character development with Bruce Banner. The hulk-out moments were more appropriately done and paced better than before.
What Kevin didn’t like: Not being a big fan of Liv Tyler, he thought she was weak in the film. Also, there were times that the CGI effects broke down.
Grade: ROCKS.
