Classic review: THE INDIANA JONES FILMS
Starting in 1981, director Steven Spielberg and producer George Lucas collaborated to create the iconic hero Indiana Jones. Beginning with Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), the series led the box office and became an instant classic. The film was followed up with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984, the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989.
LIAM’S REVIEW
What Liam expected: Movies full of adventure.
What Liam liked: The gory parts, like faces melting, bugs and people getting their hearts ripped out before being dipped into molten magma.
What Liam didn’t like: The kissing.
***KISSING ALERT***
Grade: ROCKS.
KEVIN’S REVIEW
What Kevin expected: Timeless films that live up to their original hype, even today.
What Kevin liked: Kevin was only nine years old when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out. He grew up with these films and enjoyed them as essential viewing for his childhood. He was only twelve when Temple of Doom came out, so he still has a soft spot for the movie.
What Kevin didn’t like: The fact he had to wait almost 20 years for another movie.
Grade: ROCKS.
