‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’ Review

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

It’s been two and a half years for us, one year for the characters and 1,300 years in the magical world of Narnia. In 1940s London, the Pevensie children are transported back to Narnia. There, they discover that centuries have past and humans have invaded the land. The magical creatures of Narnia have been either killed or banished into the woods. The Pevensies join forces with the fugitive Prince Caspian to take back Narnia for the creatures of the forest and him as the heir to the throne.

LIAM’S REVIEW

What Liam expected: For the movie to be like the first one, which he loved.

What Liam liked: The big battle sequences, especially when the water creature appeared.

What Liam didn’t like: When any of the creatures in Narnia died.

Grade: ROCKS.

KEVIN’S REVIEW

What Kevin expected: A darker film compared to the first one with more battle sequences and intense moments.

What Kevin liked: The effects were brilliant, and the film really told a gripping tale of peril. I liked how things were a little more complicated than the first one and not so easily fixed.

What Kevin didn’t like: Like other films this summer, the long running time was a challenge.

Grade: ROCKS.
