‘Speed Racer’ Review
The Wachowski Brothers make a live-action version of the classic Anime television series. The teenager Speed Racer enters an over-the-top car race to avenge his brother’s death.

What Liam expected: A cartoon type of movie.
What Liam liked: The big races with the bright colors, and Chim-Chim the ape.
What Liam didn’t like: When Speed Racer’s brother died.

Grade: ROCKS.
KEVIN’S REVIEW
What Kevin expected: A high-energy, bubble-gum action movie with tons of special effects but not much plot.
What Kevin liked: The special effects and virtual environment were incredible. The movie is definitely a feast for the eyes. You won’t see better action and CGI this summer.
What Kevin didn’t like: It’s 2 hour 15 minute running time was way too long. The Wachowskis need an editor.
Grade: Kinda rocks.
